PF Payment Tracker: A Guide to Tracking PF Remittances

PF Payment Tracker

  • Navigate to Tax and Statutory Compliance → Statutory Components → Provident Fund → PF Payment Tracker

  • The PF Payment Tracker in payroll helps organizations record and track Provident Fund remittances for each salary month, ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines. It displays the Salary Month, Employee Share Amount, Organization Share Amount, and the Total Amount payable.

  • For payment tracking, the module also records the Amount Paid, Payment Status (e.g., Paid, Pending), Mode of Payment (such as Bank Transfer, Cheque, or Internet Banking, Cash etc), and the Payment Date. This allows payroll administrators to reconcile PF liabilities with actual payments made to the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO).

  • After payslips are generated, the employee and organization contribution amounts are automatically displayed in the PF Payment Tracker.

  • To update payment details, select the relevant salary month, click Update, complete all mandatory fields, and then click Add.
