ESS Separation Guide: Apply & Withdraw Resignation

Separation

Exit Management in ESS(Employee Self Service) allows employees to initiate the resignation or retirement process. Through the portal, employees can submit their resignation request, view the exit checklist, and track the status of their exit process.

Employee Self Service → My Profile → Separation

  1. Click the Apply button, and a pop-up window will appear. The employee will not have access to edit or change the resignation date or exit date, as these are determined by the Notice Period configuration in the employee's designation.
  2. The employee can update the reason for resignation and then click the Save button.
  3. A success message will be displayed, and an email notification will be sent to the designated approver, depending on the workflow configuration.
  4. Employees have the option to withdraw their resignation after it has been submitted. In the separation tab, click the "Withdraw" button. A pop-up window will appear asking for the reason for the withdrawal. Once the reason is provided, click "Yes" to submit the withdrawal request.
  5. If the resignation has been approved, the withdrawal option will no longer be available to the employee. In this case, the employee must contact the Manager or HR and request them to cancel the resignation from the Admin portal.
