How to Approve Tax & HRA Declarations in Workwisely

Approval for the Tax & HRA Declaration

  1. Navigate to Tax and Statutory Compliances → Tax Declaration.
  2. Choose the appropriate employee record. If the employee has submitted proof for the declared investment category, the Update Status button will be displayed.
  3. Click the Edit icon for each investment category. In the Status dropdown, choose whether to Approve or Reject.
  4. If Approved, enter the Approved Amount and Click Update Status button after reviewing the submitted documents.
  5. The final approved amount updated by the Payroll Admin will be considered for TDS calculation. 
  6. This approval process is mandatory if an employee is relieved during the financial year.
