Workplace Selection During Check-In & Check-Out
Tell the system where you're working from — a quick prompt at each check-in and check-out keeps attendance records accurate.
If your organization has made workplace selection mandatory, a prompt will appear every time you check in or out. Choose the option that matches where you're working so your attendance, reports, and utilization reflect the right context.
⚠️ Before you begin
The prompt only appears when workplace selection is mandatory in your organization's attendance policy. If you don't see it, your admin hasn't enabled the requirement — and you can proceed with a standard check-in.
The 4 workplace options
Pick the one that best describes your work location for this shift.
Select when: You're working remotely from your home.
Best for standard WFH days approved by your manager.
Select when: You're working from your assigned office location.
Use this for any in-office day at your primary workplace.
Select when: You're working on-site or at a location outside the office.
Typical for field sales, site visits, or any off-site work.
Select when: You're on official duty at a client site or another designated location.
Use for client visits, conferences, or travel assigned by your manager.

💡 Tip
Pick the most accurate option every time. Workplace data feeds into attendance reports, location-based policies, and utilization — mislabeling can skew your own stats and your team's.
📌 Note
The selection you make at check-in is independent of check-out. If your work location changes mid-day, you can select a different option when you check out.
