How Individual Editing Works

Updating an individual employee's details can be done directly from their profile. To find the employee, use the search bar at the top right corner or navigate through the employee list.

Once on the employee profile, you can edit the necessary details by selecting the appropriate tab. The profile includes multiple tabs such as Personal Info, Contact Info, Job Info, and more.

Example: Update a Mobile Number

For example, to update the Mobile Number, go to the Contact Info tab, click Edit in the top right corner, update the information, and click Save.

Job Info Edits Require an Effective Date

Similarly, you can modify any employee details as needed. When updating Job Info, such as changing the Manager or other job-related details, you must provide an Effective Date for the changes to take effect.

Why Effective Date?
Job changes tie into payroll, reporting, and approvals β€” the effective date tells the system exactly when the new value should take over.

Use the search bar to jump to an employee in one step β€” faster than scrolling the list when you know the name or employee ID.

Forgetting the Effective Date on Job Info changes will block the save β€” always set it before clicking Save to avoid a re-try.
