Resignation Approval
Everything approvers need — from individual and bulk actions to group, admin, and history views of every resignation request.
User: My Team → Exit Management → Approval | Admin: Workflow → Approval Management
Managers and approvers see all resignation requests pending for their direct reports. They can approve or reject based on the information submitted.
Visible only when you're part of an approval group. Any member can claim a task — it then moves to their My Approval tab. If they need to step away, the task can be reassigned to another group member for seamless delegation.
TAB 3 · AdminOutstanding Approval
Admin-only view. Shows every pending request across every approver in the organization — useful for unblocking stuck approvals and running weekly exit reviews.
On This Screen
The Approval list shows each request with employee, designation, date applied, and action icons. Use the tab strip at the top to switch between My / Group / Outstanding views.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I reject a request?
The employee gets a notification and the resignation moves to a rejected state. They can then raise a new request if needed, or the Admin can initiate one on their behalf.
Can I undo an approval?
Once approved and progressed past your stage, you can't unapprove — but an Admin can still cancel the resignation from the Admin Process view before the exit date lapses.
Why don't I see the Group Approval tab?
That tab is only visible if your user is part of at least one approver group. If you expect to see it, ask your Admin to add you to the relevant group.
As a group member, what does "claiming" a task mean?
Claiming pulls the task out of the shared pool into your personal My Approval tab. Other group members can no longer action it unless you reassign it back.
