How to Handle Missed Employee Attendance & Loss of Pay

No Attendance

  • Both missed check-in and check-out attendance data will be available in this tab. 

  • You can perform either of the following two actions: Initiate Loss of Pay and Initiate Attendance

  • Select the missed attendance records and click the Initiate Unpaid Leave button to apply Loss of Pay (LOP) for the missed dates.

  • The “LOP Initiation” process helps HR streamline the management of employee attendance by automatically generating Loss of Pay (unpaid leave) records for employees with incomplete attendance or leave records. This feature is mandatory when attendance enforcement configuration is in place; otherwise, it remains optional.

  • Select the missed attendance records and click the Initiate Attendance button to mark attendance based on the assigned work schedule.For example, if an employee is assigned a work schedule of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the system will record the Check-in time as 9:00 AM and the Check-out time as 5:00 PM. This data will then be reflected under the Attendance tab.

Export Attendance Finalization

HR/Admin users have the ability to export the incomplete or No Attendance sheet for review. This feature allows them to:

  • Download the incomplete attendance records into a spreadsheet for detailed analysis.Click the Three Dot in the right hand side and click Export Incomplete Attendance button to get the data in the excel sheet.

  • Download the no attendance records into a spreadsheet for detailed analysis.Click the Three Dot in the right hand side and click Export Missed Attendance & Leave button to get the data in the excel sheet.
