Work Schedule Mandatory Field | It determines the working hours, shifts, and attendance rules applicable to employees. It can be configured at two levels: Employee Level- Assigned directly to the individual employees. Fixed working hours (Eg: 9 AM to 6 PM,Monday to Friday) and the employee having the consistent work schedule and week off. Shift Roster- Based on a shift roster, where employees follow rotating shifts.Schedules may change daily,weekly or monthly and also have a dynamic week off.

Salary Calculation Days Mandatory Field | It defines the basis on which employee salaries are computed. Different methods can be used depending on company policy and payroll structure: All Days of the Month-Salary is calculated based on the total calendar days in the month (28, 29, 30, or 31 days).Commonly used in monthly fixed salary structures. Business Working Days- Salary is based only on the official working days in the month (excluding weekends and holidays). Average Days in a Month-A standard fixed average of 30.42 days (365 days ÷ 12 months) is used for uniformity across all months. Fixed Days of Salary Month-A predefined fixed number of days (e.g., 30 days) is used for salary computation, regardless of the actual number of days in the month.

Comp Off Calculation Days Mandatory Field | It determines how the leave equivalent is granted for extra work done on holidays or beyond regular working hours. Different calculation methods are available based on company policies: All Days of the Month-If an employee earns 1 day of Comp Off for every 8 extra hours worked, and the month has 30 days, the calculation considers all 30 days. Business Working Days- If a month has 22 working days, the Comp Off calculation will be based on those 22 days. Average Days in a Month-If an employee earns 0.5 Comp Off days for working 4 extra hours, the calculation remains the same whether the month has 28 or 31 days. Fixed Days of Salary Month-If the policy states that 1 Comp Off day is earned for 8 extra hours, the calculation will always assume 30 days in a month.

Processed Biometric Attendance Record Mandatory Field | It refers to the finalized attendance data that is generated after biometric entries (such as fingerprint scans or facial recognition) have been captured, validated, and processed within the system. This record determines an employee’s attendance status based on system-defined rules and approval workflows. Auto Approval- Attendance records except for the week off and holidays are approved based on predefined system rules. Manual Approval- Attendance records require manager or admin verification and approval manually.

Enable Work Place | If Yes – When employees mark attendance from the dashboard or My Actions, selecting a workplace will be mandatory. If No – When employees mark attendance from the dashboard or My Actions, selecting a workplace will be optional. |
Workplace | Work From Home (WFH)- Employees working remotely can select this option. On Duty- For employees working outside the office for official purposes (e.g., client meetings, site visits). Office- Standard attendance for employees working from the office location. Field- For employees working in the field (e.g., sales, delivery, or service personnel).

Approve Dashboard Attendance Mandatory Field | Manually- Attendance records marked from the dashboard attendance require explicit approval from a manager or HR before they are processed. Automatically- Attendance records marked from the dashboard attendance are auto-approved based on predefined system rules. Automatically for selected work place-The system automatically approves attendance when employees check in from a predefined workplace (e.g., Office, Work From Home, Field, or On Duty).
