Attendance Shortage

My Team → Attendance → Attendance Finalization → Shortage

Attendance Shortage refers to instances where an employee’s total working hours for a day are less than the minimum required hours defined in the organization’s attendance policy.
  1. If this policy is applicable for your organization, the attendance records with shortage hours will be displayed under this tab for the Admin to take appropriate action.
  2. You can choose to either initiate leave as per the policy or ignore the shortage record without applying any penalty.
  3. To proceed, select the relevant attendance record and click the Action button based on your requirement.
  4. Once the leave is initiated, it will be recorded in the Leave Request module and will follow the configured approval workflow for further processing.
