Complete Walkthrough

Project & Timesheet Management is a four-stage setup. Each stage is covered by a dedicated article — finish them in order.

STEP 1
Project Management
Create a project, assign a project code, pick the cost centre and map the employees who will book time against it.
STEP 2
Activity Management
Define activity types (development, review, testing, etc.) and map each activity to one or more projects.
STEP 3
Timesheet
Employees log hours by day against a project & activity. Managers review Weekly Summary and Project & Activity Summary decompositions.
STEP 4
Timesheet Approval
Manager reviews submitted timesheets, approves or sends back with comments. Approved time flows to payroll and billing.

Frequently Asked

Common questions

Can an employee book time to a project they aren't assigned to?+
No. Employees only see projects they've been mapped to. Ask your HR Admin to add you to the project's employee list.
What happens if my manager rejects my timesheet?+
The entry returns to Draft with the manager's comment attached. Correct the hours or activity and resubmit.
Can I log time to more than one project on the same day?+
Yes. Create multiple entries — one per project/activity combination — and the daily total will sum automatically.
Can I edit a submitted timesheet?+
Only if the manager sends it back. Once approved, entries are locked. Contact your manager to reopen.
