Creating & Publishing a Holiday List
Set up the named holiday list that will hold all your published holidays — the foundation every holiday entry gets attached to.
CoreHR → Employee Data Management → Holidays → Holiday List
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Prerequisites
- Admin access to CoreHR
- Decide on a clear name for the list (e.g., “2026 India Holidays”)
- Holiday Types already defined (see Holiday Types)
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE
Outcome
- A named holiday list that appears on the Holiday List tab
- A container ready for individual or bulk holiday entries
- The foundation for publishing holidays to employees
ⓘ NAMING TIP
Include the year and region in the list name — it makes multi-country setups and year-on-year rollovers far easier to manage.
To create a holiday list, navigate to CoreHR from the left navigation menu and select the Employee Data Management & Holidays and then Holiday List tab. Click on +Add New input the holiday name and Save.
