Navigate to Settings → CoreHR → Pre-Approvals.
To configure, click the +Add Configuration button on the right-hand side and update the policy settings.
You can define the following parameters based on your organization’s policy: Pre-approval type, Coverage, Number of pre-approval requests per period, Maximum days allowed per request, Approval Workflow and Advance Notification.
Title | Description |
Pre-Approval Type | Select the type such as Work From Home, On Duty, Work During Week Off, Work During Holiday, or Overtime. |
Coverage | Specify whether the configuration applies to the entire organization or to a specific group of employees. |
Period | It defines the time frame within which the system tracks and limits the number of pre-approval requests an employee can submit.(Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly and Yearly) |
No of Pre-approval Request | Set the maximum number of requests allowed within a defined period (e.g., per month). |
Max Days Allowed Per Request | Define how many days can be covered in a single pre-approval request. |
Advance Notification | It allows the admin to define how far in advance an employee must submit a pre-approval request before the scheduled date of activity. |
Workflow Approval | Configure the approval hierarchy, such as Reporting Manager, Department Head, or HR. |
